FAQs

we’ve got the answer’s to your questions

  • Short answer: Very! We typically aim for ~30% teaching, 70% interacting. We build our content around practical scenarios, reflection, and group activities.

Long answer: Allow us to nerd out a bit ;-) There are 3 key ingredients to creating meaningful interaction: 1) a strong understanding of the audience’s needs, 2) relevant content without fluff, 3) next-level facilitation that draws you in, using storytelling techniques, leveraging participant expertise, and expert management of group dynamics. We will design with all of this in mind, and check with you to make sure we are spot on.

  • Customized design is always an iterative process. We meet with you, learn about your needs, and agree on a timeline using this 4-step process:

    1. Listen: We ask questions to determine your needs

    2. Co-Create: We design the experience in partnership with you

    3. Engage: We deliver interactive, dynamic content

    4. Impact: We debrief on outcomes and plan next steps

  • It’s difficult to provide a figure without context, since everything we do is custom designed to client needs. With that said, we use a flat fee model for workshops, offsites, and coaching - meaning that we charge by session, not by number of participants.

For custom leadership programs or a combination of services: once we have a good understanding of your needs, we’ll come back to you with a proposal including 2-3 price options we believe would help solve your challenges.

  • Yes! We design the workshop(s) using your company brand guidelines. All training materials we develop (e.g. slide, handouts, activities) are yours to keep and reuse. You can modify in the future as you see fit.

  • Both. We work with you to decide on the format that works best for your audience and business goals. We’ve delivered in-person sessions in international offices (we love to travel!) and online sessions using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet.

  • Our pricing doesn’t include a cap on people. We’ve created workshops for up to 50 leaders — this is something we discuss with you based on the size of your team, organization, or business goals. For larger groups, we would collaborate with you to ensure group participation and engagement.

  • Absolutely! Combining coaching with workshop(s) is a powerful approach to help deepen learning and ensure retention after the fact. Our team of handpicked certified coaches have successfully led teams in tech, and can work with you to create meaningful long-term change.

  • Yes! We design the program using your company brand guidelines. All training materials we develop (e.g. decks, handouts, activities) are yours to keep. You can modify it in the future as you see fit.

  • Both. We work with you to decide on the format that works best for your audience and business goals. We’ve designed multi day in-person programs as well as interconnected weekly online sessions.

  • We’ve found that it makes most sense for you to own this aspect. However, we advise you on the approach and the best KPIs to track behavioural change.

  • Confidentiality is paramount in our coaching sessions. We provide a safe, neutral space for you to explore challenges and opportunities freely. Everything discussed in sessions remains strictly confidential between you and your coach. We are happy to sign an NDA of any other legally binding document as needed.

  • This varies depending on your needs and goals. We recommend starting with a series of 6 sessions to ensure meaningful progress, but we can customize the length of the engagement to suit your preferences.

  • We offer both online and in-person coaching sessions, depending on your preference and location. Our coaches are flexible and can adapt to the format that works best for you.

  • Anyone who has done meaningful work with a coach will tell you that the benefits are both personal and professional. We can use tools such as 360 reviews, or soliciting peer/direct report feedback to measure change and impact. We also recommend a self-assessment before and after the coaching engagement to reflect on progress and learning.

  • It typically varies between 1 and 3 days, inclusive of all activities within and outside our control (e.g. dinner, outdoor team building activities). We partner with you to create the event based on your needs, budget, and timing requirements. If time is short, we look at alternatives such as a day in person together, followed by 1 or 2 online sessions.

  • You tell us! We’ve created leadership experiences ranging from an intimate group of 15 up to a leadership summit for 250+ regional leaders. We design the experience with your audience and business goals in mind, but even with large groups, we keep our interactive and dynamic approach.

  • This is the beauty of bringing people together to have meaningful conversations. Sometimes a topic we thought would take 30 mins, needs a lot more time to unpack because it impacts folks in different ways. We get it. We build space for emergent thinking in our design, and we adapt in the moment - maybe we’ll allocate time to dive deeper, maybe we’ll push the conversation to later if not critical or only important for a few folks. Whatever happens, we check in with you to ensure we are spending time on the most important topics.
